A unique set of arched oak doors designed to fit into a house originally 17th century but altered many times over the following centuries. The pair of oak doors in the corridor had to blend in with the 16th century oak panelling taken from another , unknown house. They are made from quarter-sawn oak with leaded glass infill.
The Front door with its peacock central boss and arched head is made from quater-sawn English oak finished with caustic soda rinse, washed lime and wax. The glass in the light is champagne coloured hand blown glass.
